Rudolph R. Gore, 59 of Forest Hill, WV, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 at the Beckley VAMC after battling a long illness. He was a 17 year veteran of the United States Air Force.
Born March 29, 1957 in Talcott, WV, he was a son of Elizabeth "Libby" Gore of Hinton, WV and the late Charles "Rudy" Gore.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn "Renae" Gore; five children, Dennis and Danielle R. Gore; Charles R. Brunty and wife Lydia, Steven R. Brunty, Kelly R. Baker and husband Brett; nine grandchildren, Dante and Takira; Ashlynn, Kylun, and Jaxson; Braxton, Ayden, and Brentley; Draven. Surviving siblings include Francine Smith and husband Robert, Dianne Johnson and husband Ted, Brian Gore and wife Jerri, Cris Gore and wife Beth, Kim Young and husband Abel; Jerri Jarrell and Charles "Chubby" Gore.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his siblings Dwayne Gore, Kevin Gore, Rebecca Manuel; Christopher Norbom.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Dr. James Blume officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. for his friends at the funeral parlors. Directly following the services we will celebrate his life!
