Mildred Keaton

Mildred R. Keaton, age 94, of Jumping Branch, WV passed away at the Rockin' Chair Nursing Home on March 27, 2019 following a long illness.
Born May 9, 1924 at Lovern in Summers County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Rachel Ryan Law.
Mildred graduated from Peterstown High School and was the oldest member of the Bluestone Baptist Church. She worked at the Celanese Plant in Pearisburg, VA for a short time and later in life she worked at Harvey's Produce and Smith's By-Pass Market. Mildred was a loving house wife and mother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold J. (Chess) Keaton; one son, Robert A. Keaton; four brothers, Fred, George, Bernard and Charles Law and two grandchildren, Bradley and Matthew Keaton.
Mildred is survived by two sons, David Keaton and wife Lola of Waynesboro, VA and Ray Keaton and wife Ann of Nimitz, WV; one daughter in law, Cathy Keaton; three sisters in law, Ervil and Sandra Law and Mary Lambert; one brother in law, Pat Keaton; six grandchildren, Lisa and husband Dwayne Ward, Meredith and husband Bill Whittaker, Robert and wife Michele Keaton, Jeff Keaton, Brian Keaton and Jared Keaton; several great and great great grandchildren also survive.
Graveside service and burial will be 12:30 PM, Saturday March 30, 2019 at Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton with Pastors Butch Honaker and Josh Winkler officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel. Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to thank the staff of the Rockin' Chair Nursing Home and Dr. Day and staff for the wonderful care provided. In lieu of flowers donations of sympathy may be made to the Bluestone Baptist Church.
