Marvin Grimmett

Marvin C. Grimmett, 72, of Hilldale went home to be with the Lord, Sunday July 1, 2018 at Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a long illness.
Born March 24, 1946 at Hinton he was a son of the late Arthur Thomas and Sarah Dorothy Martin Grimmett.
Marvin was a farmer who loved going to the flea market. He was a lifelong resident of Summers County.
Those left to cherish his memory include two sisters, Wanda Ward of Hix and Nannie R. Grimmett of Hilldale and three brothers, Norvel Grimmett of Wise, VA, Melvin H. Grimmett of Hinton and Thomas Grimmett of Pipestem.
Graveside service and burial will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Martin Family Cemetery on Shepherd Mountain, with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery from 10:30 A.M. until time of services Thursday at the cemetery.
