Joyce Ann Hudson

January 1, 1930 — December 9, 2021

Joyce Ann Tickle Hudson, 91, of True went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Princeton Community Hospital following a short illness.

Born January 1, 1930 in Hinton she was a daughter of the late Nathan E. and Ella Harris Tickle. She was a retired schoolteacher and a member of James Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Hudson Sr.; grandson Robert R. Hudson III; and three brothers and three sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Robert R. Hudson Jr.; one granddaughter Keri LeAnn Hudson; two great grandchildren Makayla Hudson and Maeve Muncy; along with many loved ones and friends whom she loved dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2021 at James Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor David Damewood officiating. Burial will follow in the Spangler Family Cemetery at True. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of services Monday at the church. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
