Donna Lee Shrader, 84, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord Saturday April 27, 2019 at the Summers County Appalachian Reginal Hospital following a long illness.
Born April 15, 1935 at Hinton Hospital, she was a daughter of the late Bert C. and Lila Amick Richmond. Donna was a member of the Beech Run Baptist Church, former bookeeper for Cox's Department Store in Hinton, WV and a lifelong resident of Summers County. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends. Donna was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. Shrader; one sister, Helen Williams and one brother, Dr. Henry Pittzenberger.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Ronnie Shrader and wife Susan of Hinton; Cheryl Ann Shuler and husband Dale of Texas; and Lisa Dawn Bartgis and husband Bryen of Alaska; three grandchildren, Garrett and Baylee Bartgis, and Trista Jones and husband Shawn; two great grandchildren, Hoyt and Heath Jones; Special friends, Lou Bartgis, Joni Carol Koenig, and Margaret Plumley; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
